Enrico Dotta

PhD student

Enrico Dotta earned his MD from the University of Padua, Italy, in 2021, with a thesis on the in vivo characterization of dendritic cell and T cell interactions. After obtaining an Erasmus+ fellowship, he moved to the Technical University of Munich, Germany, where he investigated the fate determination of cytotoxic T cells during early activation. Back to Padua, he worked in the Surgical Pathology Department, in the head and neck, bone, and soft tissue section.

In 2023, Enrico joined the PhD program in Oncology and Immunology at the University of Padua, completing an Master’s diploma in Omics Data Analysis in 2024 to complement his wet lab training with computational skills. As a PhD candidate in the Pasqual Lab, he is studying the dynamics of dendritic cell and T cell interactions in vaccination models to uncover mechanisms that drive effective immune responses.
