Agnieszka Maciola
Postdoctoral Associate
Agnieszka Maciola received her MSc in Environmental Biotechnology from the University of Silesia, Poland, in 2013 and completed her PhD in Biochemistry in 2018 at the Polish Academy of Sciences, where her research focused on influenza subunit vaccines.
Following her doctoral studies Agnieszka worked as a scientist at VisMederi Research, specializing in the analysis of humoral and cellular immune response and gaining experience in BSL-3 environments while adhering to GCLP standards. Currently, she is a postdoctoral associate in the Pasqual Lab, leading a project on T cell priming and tolerance induction. Additionally, she is contributing to the study of the immune response to viral infections and vaccination.
So far, Agnieszka has published several peer-reviewed articles, is co-inventor of a granted patent, and received support through multiple fellowships, including the Lars Haaheim Travel Fellowship and a FEBS Short-term Fellowship.
